For many years I  have been making art for the  Artomat project.   I am thoroughly  fascinated  with the idea of offering  original art for sale that is affordable, in fact, down right cheap!    My primary  medium of  original printmaking is an excellent choice for this project.  In fact one of the main reasons artists throughout history have made original prints is because original prints are so affordable. The idea of using refurbished cigarette machines to sell art is also a wonderful  concept.  What a  great use  for a machine  that  once  sold us such a  dangerous  product. 

 
The pieces  created  for  Artomat are  normally only available  for  purchase  through  Artomat  machines or  the Artomat  On-line Store.  I cannot  sell my "main stream" art  for  the low prices  that the Artomat pieces sell for because I could  not  survive as an artist.  I participate  with  Artomat  because I love the  project and am not  that  concerned  about  any  financial  reward from the project.   So I try to keep  my  main art and the Artomat  pieces  separate and not  let the  two worlds of art mix.  Without sounding  pompous, I can truthfully say if you buy one of my pieces from Artomat you are getting a great, great deal on art, and you honor me and the Artomat project by doing so!
