Selections from the Human Souls series
| The mysterious realm of the human soul is explored by my imagination as I ponder the "disposition" of souls. Judgment, whether horrible damnation or glorious heaven, is suggested by the predicament envisioned in the artwork. Many of the souls are portrayed as they just emerge upon the death of the physical body, where, for just a micro second of time, their future may seem unclear. I enjoy rendering bad souls receiving their judgment. Perhaps this is my own inner voice hoping that "good guys" win and "bad guys" lose. This, of course, opens up a whole new point to discuss. |
